A DHT mutant describes a person that produces additional dihydrotestosterone through some sort of backdoor method, despite having completely inhibited testosterone. Not much is known about this currently, but there is a way to check for additional backdoor DHT production by getting a blood test for 3a Androstanediol glucuronide. [1]
